Gros Morne Academy's graduates had a great day out in the community helping our seniors in their yards! Much fun was had, many chores were done and some great connections were made. Thanks so much to the Gros Morne Kinsmen for sponsoring this event!!

Students in grades 3-6 had the opportunity today to meet Mike Stevens; a Canadian harmonicist who has been performing at the Trails, Tales and Tunes Festival. We are so thankful to have met him and to learn about his musical gift; playing the harmonica with excitement and enthusiasm! A special thanks to Wayne, Kim and Shirley for making this happen!

On May 8th, our own Mr. Tony did a drumming workshop with the Grade 10’s, 11’s, and 12’s. He shared his Ghanaian culture and taught the students a few beats and dance moves. Thank you Mr. Tony for sharing and enhancing our understanding of multiculturalism here at GMA.
