We’re actively looking for land in the Clarence-Rockland / Eastern Ontario area where we can continue welcoming children, families and schools into nature.

It doesn’t have to be perfect. We’re looking for the right space, the right opportunity, and the right people to help us keep building.

Today is a day to gather, connect, and celebrate the beauty of community and the natural world to celebrate Summer Solstice.
🌱 This morning: Join us in the Rockland Community Garden from 10:30–11:30 AM for a shorter Gardening for the Community session. We'll spend a little time tending the garden together before heading off to another wonderful community event. 🍓 This afternoon: I hope you'll join us at the 2026 Summer Solstice Gathering of Métis, First Nations and Inuit, hosted by the Indigenous Grassroots Circle.
📍 Parc du Moulin (Marina), 100 Edward Street, Rockland
🕛 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
💛 Admission by donation
The gathering will feature singers, drumming, storytellers, dancers, artisans, a children's learning village, a sacred fire, and so much more—a beautiful opportunity to celebrate the Summer Solstice, and learn together.
I hope to see many of you in the garden this morning and again this afternoon as we come together in community. 🌿☀️

Wild Fauna's June Newsletter Summer break is fast approaching! It has been such an amazing spring filled with new adventures, birthday parties and class field trips. Our space is slowly evolving into a place that feels like home and we couldn't be happier.
