Here is the most updated information received by the province today. It will be in effect as early as June 1, 2022. I have sent out all the information to parents but we still have some pending. Information moving forward will be posted on Brightwheel. We have tried to contact most parents to sign up with very little success. Please contact me if you are having problems signing in to your parent portal or Brightwheel. We can help you through the process. Have a great week.
New Brunswick has made a Significant move on
reducing the out-of-pocket contribution on
average by 50% for all parents with a child enrolled
in one of our designated New Brunswick Early
Learning Centres and Homes. Today, government
committed to reduce the cost of childcare for
parents as early as June 1,2022
This reduction is the first step towards achieving
the commitment of reducing parent's out-of-pocket
costs for childcare by an average of $10 per day by
2026.
Starting June 1, 2022, the Department of Education
and Early Childhood Development (EECD) will be
implementing a Standardized Parent Fee Grid
which sets the fees operators can charge parents.
In addition, low- and middle-income families will
continue to have access to a modified Parent
Subsidy program which will further reduce their
contribution to their daycare fees.
Great news for New Brunswick families.

Fantastic news. New Brunswick will not be following suit with NS on the subsidized $10.00 per day daycare fees.
I will be working with the Province of NB from February 13 - 26th
This will allow me to get clarification on the Canadian - New Brunswick Early Learning and Childcare Agreement.
Great new for New Brunswick. 😃
