❄🌎In Music & Movement this week, we traveled from the age of continental drift (inspired by Ice Age) all the way to our crowd favorite Seal Dance. A joyful way to explore Arctic and Antarctic animals through rhythm, imagination, and movement.

Our little ones learned about Valentine’s Day and Family Day, shared thoughtful goodie bags, and even enjoyed a special birthday pizza lunch from a friend. What a beautiful way to celebrate community and kindness.❤

Math Work of the Week! 🔢✨
Children choose the math materials that spark their curiosity—moving at their own pace from concrete to abstract. From Spindle Box and Number Rods to Cards and Counters, Teens Board, Decimal System work, the Hundred Board, Bank Game💼, and Stripboard Addition, each child discovers math through hands on exploration. We love seeing their focus, pride, and joy—whether working independently or alongside a friend. 🌟

🌿 Watching children choose their work with purpose—from practical life to knobless cylinders, strip board addition, hibernation studies, and lifecycles—reminds us how capable they truly are. When children follow their interests, independence, concentration, and joyful learning naturally bloom. 🌱

🎥 Montessori in Action: Empowering Parents at Home! 🏡✨
Last Saturday, our Little Koala Montessori community came together for a hands-on Montessori at Home workshop. Parents explored how to create child-centered spaces, involve little ones in daily routines, and tailor activities to support independence and order. From trying out Montessori materials to learning how to bring purposeful learning into everyday life — it was a joyful, inspiring morning of connection and discovery!

Our children had the most joyful time creating their own snowman artwork today—painting, designing eyes and hands, adding ears and legs, and letting their creativity lead the way.
Honouring each child’s individual imagination, no two snowmen looked alike. Each one became a delightful expression of the child who made it.
Celebrating process, creativity, and the simple magic of being fully present in the moment. ⛄✨
