Manoah Steves PAC The Manoah Steves PAC meets every 1st Monday of the month at 6:30pm in the Library. The Steves PAC includes *every* parent and guardian of a Steves student.

The Steves Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is an important part of the TEAM at Manoah Steves Elementary School. The PAC's purpose is to foster communication and cooperation among parents, staff and administration. The PAC:

- Is the formal organization representing parents in the school, with a constitution and bylaws.
- Advocates for all Steves students and recognizes parents as valuable contributors to education decisions.
- Includes all parents and strives for good communication with the school community.
- Is accessible and deals with parents' general goals and concerns (but not issues specific to a child, staff member or class, except to guide parents in how to address their concerns).
- Helps parents to understand the school system and provides a parent support network.
- Represents parents at the school, school district and provincial levels.
