🎭✨ Celebrating Brody’s Speech Arts Success!

We’re so proud to celebrate Brody, our first Speech Arts student at The Arts Conservatory to receive 1st Class Honours with Distinction from the Royal Conservatory of Music after just one year of lessons with Dr. Martin! 🏆🌟

Brody absolutely loves Speech Arts, and his achievement shows how much can grow through dedicated learning and practice.

Speech Arts helps children:
🎤 Build confidence in speaking and presenting
🗣️ Develop clear and expressive communication
💡 Think creatively and express ideas with meaning
📖 Strengthen storytelling and interpretation skills
🤝 Build communication skills that support everyday conversations
✨ Discover their own voice and develop a love for performance

As his examiner shared:
“Your thorough preparation and overall enthusiasm made your exam a pleasure to watch, Brody. Speech Arts skills are coming easily to you - what you’ve learned with the prepared selections is assisting your ability to make meaningful conversation about your other interests. ”

From the classroom to the stage, Brody’s journey is a wonderful example of what a love for Speech Arts can inspire. 🎭💙

Congratulations, Brody! We can’t wait to see where your voice takes you next! 🌟

🎨✨ Reach To Teach is where imagination takes shape and creativity comes alive!

This year, our Visual Arts and Performing Arts program invited students from Jessie Wowk and Westwind Elementary Schools to explore movement, balance, and playful expression through hands-on creative experiences.

Inspired by the revolutionary work of Alexander Calder (1898–1976), students discovered the magic of kinetic sculpture, experimenting with wire forms, suspended mobiles, and dynamic compositions that respond to space and motion. Calder’s iconic approach to art continues to inspire artists worldwide with its sense of wonder, abstraction, and play.

Alongside visual arts, students also engaged in performing arts activities that encouraged teamwork, expression, confidence, and collaboration, bringing energy and storytelling into every moment.

Through this immersive experience, students explored creativity through experimentation, spatial thinking, and collaboration, while being introduced to influential artists such as Henri Matisse and installation-based contemporary practices.

A special thank you to Ms. Niki and Dr. Martin for being our dedicated instructors, leading students through both visual arts and performing arts with passion, creativity, and care.

We are so proud of every young artist who participated and brought their ideas to life in such powerful and imaginative ways 💫
