What a blessing! 🎉 RCS Alumni Night brought together faith, friendship, and community.

Huge thanks to our Emcee, Mr. Shawn Chan (RCS alum & teacher), for hosting with heart and sharing his story and the gospel with fellow alumni. We were also honoured to have Mr. Rob Buller-Taylor joined and shared a meaningful speech! Our SC Principal and VP joined in to chat and play with alumni, and our amazing parent volunteers made it all possible. Thank you!

Same people, brighter tomorrows.

LOVING, LEARNING and LEADING! 🦅❤️

What a night! 🍔🎉
Thank you to all the families, students, staff, and teachers who came out for our Secondary Campus Back-to-School BBQ! The gym was buzzing with laughter, good food, and even better company as our RCS community gathered to kick off the year together.
From burgers hot off the grill (rain didn't stop our volunteers!) to teachers and parents connecting face-to-face, it was a wonderful reminder of what makes RCS special — a community rooted in faith, friendship, and belonging.
A huge thank-you to our staff and volunteers who made the evening possible, rain and all! We're so grateful for a school family like this one. 🦅❤️
Here's to a great year ahead, Eagles!

🎒 EC "Meet the Teacher" Night

Last night, our Kindergarten and Grade 1 families got a peek into this year's learning with Mr. Paul and Ms. Tsang!

Using a fun game, the teachers showed how kids will face challenges at school — and that failing is okay. The big message: it's not about getting it right the first time, it's about picking yourself up and trying again. Success matters, but persistence matters more.

They also introduced the learning program students will be using this year, giving parents a great look at what's ahead.

Thank you to our EC teachers for such a warm and meaningful evening! 💙

🏫 RCS 101: Building Our Future, Together

Superintendent Mr. James Sijpheer shared a big update this week on RCS's mission, vision, and what's next.

Parents choose RCS because we hold both faith and academics close — a Christ-centered environment paired with strong academic excellence, where students grow in character as much as in the classroom.

Demand keeps growing — we now receive more applications every year. To keep serving families well, we need to expand and renovate, and that means we'll need your support.

Grateful for this community. Stay tuned. 🙏

We’re so proud to see RCS alumnus Joshua Gentis (Class of 2020) and his mom, Michelle, featured in the new CBC documentary Starting Line: The Team Joshua Story!

Many in our RCS community will remember Joshua and the Gentis family, and it’s so special to see their journey and passion for inclusion shared with an even wider audience. For more than 20 years, Michelle and Joshua have been Team Joshua — running together, breaking barriers, and showing what’s possible when everyone has the opportunity to participate in sport. We’re so honoured to have been a small part of their story and can’t wait to see where their journey takes them next!

You can also stay connected with Team Joshua by following them on pushingjoshfilm on Facebook and/Instagram and follow them on their next journey as they plan to challenge all seven Abbott World Marathon Majors starting next year.
