Christmas Party 2024: A Magical Celebration of Joy and Togetherness!

The 2024 Christmas Party was nothing short of magical, bringing warmth, laughter, and holiday cheer to our school community! Students came together in true festive spirit, transforming the campus into a dazzling winter wonderland. From shimmering lights to beautifully handcrafted decorations, every corner radiated the joy of the season.

The festivities were brimming with fun and excitement. The *Gingerbread House Competition* was a highlight, where students teamed up to create whimsical, candy-filled masterpieces. The air was filled with laughter, friendly rivalry, and the sweet scent of gingerbread, making it a truly enchanting experience.

Our hearts (and stomachs!) were warmed by the delicious -Haidilao Hotpot-, where everyone gathered to enjoy a cozy, communal meal. It was a moment of connection, with stories and laughter shared over steaming bowls of flavorful goodness.

The magic didn’t stop there—Vicent the Magician took the stage and captivated everyone with his extraordinary tricks and illusions. His performance was spellbinding, leaving both children and adults wide-eyed with wonder and applause echoing through the room.

To top it all off, the Secret Santa Gift Exchange added an extra sprinkle of holiday magic. Thoughtful, heartfelt gifts brought smiles to everyone’s faces and reminded us of the joy of giving and receiving.

Halloween Fun Fest at City Vancouver Academy

This year’s Halloween at City Vancouver Academy was an unforgettable blend of spooky creativity and lively teamwork! The campus was buzzing with excitement as students and staff gathered to showcase their carving skills and costumes during the highly anticipated Pumpkin Carving Contest.

🎃 Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza:
The highlight of the day was the fierce yet friendly competition between teams to create the most imaginative jack-o’-lanterns. From spooky faces to adorable designs, each pumpkin was a testament to the creativity and effort of the participants. The room was filled with laughter, the sound of carving tools, and the occasional “oohs” and “aahs” as teams revealed their masterpieces. The finished pumpkins lined up for judging were nothing short of spectacular!

👗 Costume Parade:
Adding to the festive atmosphere, students dressed in an array of costumes, from a mysterious Dracula to a playful cow onesie. The costumes perfectly complemented the day’s spirit, with participants enthusiastically posing for photos and striking their best Halloween poses.

🎉 Teamwork & Celebration:
This year’s event not only highlighted individual creativity but also emphasized teamwork. Groups worked together to brainstorm ideas and bring their pumpkin visions to life. From cleaning out pumpkin guts to intricate carving, the camaraderie was evident in every step of the process.
