StrongStart programs might just be the best-kept secret in British Columbia!!

Do you know someone at home with children aged 0 – 5 that would enjoy special time with their child to make new discoveries, explore exceptional materials and learn new songs and stories?
Help spread the word about how fantastic we are!

StrongStart is a B.C. Provincially funded government literacy program for children aged 0-5 and their caregiver. We are fortunate to have five unique classrooms located in Elementary Schools throughout Richmond. Some of our locations offer 2 sessions each school day! During a typical year, our classes accommodate 18 children with their parent/caregiver(s). StrongStart offers beautiful materials that will delight & inspire children's sense of wonder and curiosity. StrongStart is an inclusive program, and everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend! As a literacy program, we offer 2 circle times per class with singing, music, dance, fingerplays, and stories. We even provide a healthy snack! StrongStarts are facilitated with qualified Early Childhood Educators.

At this time, the class size is limited to four children. Please see our appointment page to sign up for in-class sessions for children aged 3 to 5, Zoom circle time (all ages), Walk & Talk program for children in strollers/carriers or Wilderness Wednesday outdoor class (all ages).
