Through this experiment, children will observe and explore the interaction between water and oil on the surface of plastic wrap, while grasping the concept of surface tension. By manipulating water droplets with a toothpick, children can personally experience the effects of surface tension on liquid behavior and understand the immiscibility of oil and water. This activity will stimulate their curiosity about science, helping them develop skills in observation, experimentation, and reasoning, while fostering their spirit of exploration.
