From Views to Leads: How RV Dealers Are Turning Social Content Into Real Sales Opportunities — RV Careers 08/17/2026

What happens when the person scrolling your social feed becomes the person sitting across from your sales or service team?

That's where Keryn Lynn of Boat and RV Marketing gets interesting.

Keryn is joining us at the 2026 RV Dealers Convention/Expo, where she'll take a practical look at some of the opportunities dealerships may be leaving on the table, from turning existing demand into revenue to using technology more intelligently.

Before Vegas, you can get a sneak peek at her approach during her upcoming webinar, From Views to Leads, on August 19.

Because getting attention is only step one.

The bigger question is: what happens after someone likes a post?

Join Keryn for the webinar and see how she turns the gap between “someone engaged with our content” and “we have a real sales opportunity” into a process.

And if the webinar leaves you thinking, “Okay, what else has she got? ... you'll know where to find her in November. 👀

Finding His Calling: Neil’s Unconventional Journey from Culinary School to RV Technician  — RV Careers 08/11/2026

Some career paths come with a five-year plan. Others take a few unexpected turns. 🚐

Neil’s started in culinary school, took him through the Alberta oilfields, and eventually led him to an opportunity as an RV technician. With the right mentors, a willingness to learn, and a growing interest in how things work, he went from PDI technician to Red Seal Journeyman Technician, and eventually to business owner.

Today, Neil runs Neil’s RV Service & Repair, where he’s building the kind of workplace that helped shape his own career: one where people can learn, develop their skills, and take pride in what they do.

His story is a great reminder that you don’t always have to know exactly where your career is headed. Sometimes, you just need to be willing to take the next step.

👉 Read Neil’s story and see where an unexpected career turn can lead.

And for those ready to take their own next step, Neil’s RV is currently looking for Red Seal Journeyperson Technicians and a Service Writer.

Finding His Calling: Neil’s Unconventional Journey from Culinary School to RV Technician  — RV Careers It is often said that career paths are rarely straight lines. For Neil, the journey to finding his true passion didn't start in a garage or on a dealership floor. It started in a commercial kitchen. If you had told him two decades ago that he would eventually run a recreational vehicle repair busin

🚨 If you like solving problems, juggling priorities, and thriving in organized chaos...the RV industry is probably "not" for you.

Because one day you'll be managing parts, learning every bolt, bracket, and backorder. Then before you know it, you're leading an entire service department. 😉

A huge congratulations to Rona Hynes on her promotion from Parts Manager to Service Manager at Vision RV! 🎉

It's a move that isn't made lightly. Managing parts gives you a front-row seat to the heartbeat of the service department. You learn what keeps technicians moving, what slows repairs down, and how every piece of the puzzle fits together. That knowledge becomes a huge advantage when it's time to lead the whole team.

Career paths in the RV industry aren't always straight lines. Sometimes they're winding roads that prepare you for opportunities you never expected.

Congratulations, Rona, on this well-deserved next chapter! 👏

It is with great pride that we announce the promotion of our Parts Manager, Rona Hynes, to head up our service department and take on the Service Manager role. Rona has been with Vision Rv for 8 years and knows many of our customers by name. This is a well deserved promotion and we are excited for the future!

🎉🚐 The RV industry is celebrating 40 years of RVDA of Canada… and we’re celebrating the people who make the adventure happen.

Because behind every RV adventure is someone who made it possible.

The tech who brought the “impossible” repair back to life. 🔧
The service advisor who somehow knows exactly what that mysterious noise is. 👂
The salesperson who helped a family find their first home-on-wheels. 🏕️
The team members who keep everything rolling when the campground is calling. 🚐

Over the past 40 years, the tools have changed, the technology has evolved, and thankfully… some workplace fashion choices have stayed in the past. 😉

But one thing hasn’t changed: great people are the engine behind this industry.

Whether you’re starting your first day, learning a skilled trade, or bringing decades of experience to the road ahead, there’s a place for you in the RV industry.

Here’s to the people who keep adventure moving. 🎉

Congratulations to Ryan on earning his RV Technician Red Seal certification! 👏🔧

Becoming a Red Seal RV technician isn't something that happens overnight.

It takes three years of apprenticeship, thousands of hours of hands-on training, technical instruction, and the determination to keep learning every day. Along the way, apprentices develop the skills to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain the many complex systems found in today's RVs, from electrical and plumbing to propane, appliances, slide-outs, HVAC, and more.

That's a lot to master.

Ryan's achievement is a testament to his hard work and dedication, and to the mentorship and support he received from the team at Arbutus RV throughout his apprenticeship journey.

Congratulations, Ryan, on reaching this important career milestone. Wishing you continued success in the years ahead!
