Welcome to Friday! Today, we started our fun with an exciting obstacle course! Our friends had the option to choose from climbers, tunnels, fish steps, and mats to climb, jump, crawl, and run through. The colorful parachute made the activity even more inviting, and our friends participated with great enthusiasm! Everyone had so much fun while developing their gross motor skills through active movement and exploration.

We also enjoyed some of our friends’ favorite songs, including *Freeze Dance* and *Sleeping Little Bunnies*. Our friends danced, jumped, and moved along with the music, filling the space with lots of smiles and laughter!

After lunch, we explored a fun pasta boating sensory activity. Our friends enjoyed touching and exploring the pasta and placing it inside the mini LEGO boxes. When some pasta ended up on the floor, we extended the activity by turning cleanup into part of the fun! The children enjoyed collecting the pasta and putting it into the garbage can while practicing their fine motor skills and following simple instructions.

It was a wonderful Friday filled with movement, music, sensory exploration, and lots of joyful learning!

Today, we created camping tents on a sticky surface. Our friends used loose parts to decorate their own tents, showing creativity while also engaging in early math thinking by sorting, counting, and arranging materials in patterns.
We also had lots of fun washing our cars, just like when we visited a car wash two days ago. It’s so wonderful to see more friendships and connections growing through this activity.

Today, Tykes 1 is a professional surfer with surfing craft.

Tykes 1 couldn’t hide their excitement for surfing and summer activities so that they had a time to make moving surfing craft with paper plates, tissue paper and their face.
Children first covered the paper plates with blue tissue paper to express ocean and then added their surfing board and figures of themselves.
As soon as they completed their surfing craft, they started showing their pictures each other and filled the classroom with lots of laughs.
Tykes 1 showed their creativity and well-developed fine motor skills while they were participating in the activity.

Welcome back to school, Squirts 2! 💦 This week, we are going to explore the exciting world of **water sports!**

In the morning, our friends engaged in their favourite water activities. They had the opportunity to explore different sizes, colours, and types of boats on the tuff tray. To create a more engaging and relatable scene, we added water creatures such as fish, octopuses, frogs, and different types of seashells. 🐟🐙🐸🐚

Some friends enjoyed driving the boats through the water, while others had fun scooping and pouring water using the fish cups. These activities helped develop **hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and sensory exploration** while encouraging imaginative play.

After lunch, we continued exploring different types of boats on paper. Friends were presented with pictures of kayaks, sailboats, jet skis, canoes, and more. Using bingo dots, they decorated their boats while practicing their colours. To enhance colour recognition and vocabulary, teachers called out each colour as friends selected their bingo dots. 🎨

Other friends enjoyed getting active with a beach ball by kicking, tossing, and catching it with their hands. ⚽ What a fun-filled day of water-themed exploration, creativity, and active play! 💦☀️

What a wonderful and busy day our little learners had today! Inside the classroom, the children explored two interactive table activities, diving hands-first into a beach-themed sand sensory bin and expressing their creativity by stamping bright summer fruits onto paper with paint stamps. Throughout the day, our curriculum activities kept everyone engaged with group story sessions on the carpet and hands-on doctor/health play stations where friends practiced using toy stethoscopes and tools.
The fun continued outside as our class held onto the walking rope for an exciting neighborhood stroll! The children loved visiting our garden patch to inspect real tomato and zucchini plants up close, pointing out the growing vegetables along the vines. During our walk, we even spotted a bright yellow food truck parked nearby, making our outdoor adventure extra special. It was a fantastic day full of learning, smiles, and fresh summer air! 🌿🚶‍♂️✨

Today, squirts one explored emotions through two engaging activities. They used droppers to add water to different emotion cotton pads, watching the colours change while practicing hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
They also threw balls at emotion monsters, helping them recognize different facial expressions and emotions while developing gross motor skills, coordination, and turn-taking. Some children stood on the cushions to help them reach up and touch the rings. They also enjoyed throwing balls at the emotion monsters. These activities supported their gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and arm strength while providing a fun way for them to express and release their emotions.

Through our teachers‘ observations, we have noticed that our children really enjoy drawing. Therefore, the Tiny Tots Two children took part in an activity called ”Shapes.“ We placed a large sheet of paper on the table, and the teachers gave a simple introduction to the natural materials we had collected outdoors. The children were then free to use the materials provided to draw on the paper or trace around the shapes of the natural materials.
Some children drew circles and then added their own creative patterns inside them. This activity encouraged the children to explore shapes, express their creativity, and enjoy drawing freely.
