What a morning at Willowbrae!!!!

Our whole center got moving for the Terry Fox School Run, with lots of cardio, teamwork, learning and community spirit!

Our infants enjoyed a walk, while our toddlers took obstacle courses in the playground, created a beautiful tree of Hope, and learned about Terry Fox and his inspiring story.

Our School Ready classrooms ran lap after lap in the parking lot. And our SR3 completed an amazing 50 laps together with our parents! 🏃🎉 A huge thank you to the parents who koin d us and ran alongside the children. Woohoo!!!

Our children also headed out for walks to keep the movement going and show their support.

We are so proud of all our children, educators, families for coming together to honour Terry's legacy and support such an important cause ❤️

This year, we are so excited to participate in the Terry Fox School Run!

Next Tuesday, our Willowbrae children will be coming together to support the Terry Fox School Run and help raise awareness for cancer research.

Our SR children will be running laps in our side parking lot, while our Infant&Toddler children will have their own little run in the playground. All programs will also go for a wall during their regular outdoor time to show their support in our community.

We are excited to introduce his story to our children and encourage kindness, perseverance, and helping others.

Thank you for supporting the fight against the cancer!!

✨Every big dream starts with a little imagination 💛

Today we celebrated World Dream Day! Our children and teachers too, came dressed as who they dream of becoming when they grew up.

As part of our September "All about me" theme, we have been leaning about identity, interests, families, belonging, and dreams we have for our future. Today was such a fun way for our children to explore different careers, share their ideas, and imagine all the possibilities ahead of them.🎉

Our School Ready classrooms had their first music class with Groove Music Academy this week, and they ABSOLUTELY loved it.

They explored different instruments, rhythm, and basic musical concepts through fun, hands-on learning. Our children and teachers are really looking forward to the next class!

Groove Music Academy offers inspiring music lessons for all ages, helping students build creativity, confidence and a love for music.

If your family is interested in learning more about Grooveusic Academy or their music programs, feel free to reach out to us. We'd be happy to connect you with their team!

Learning through play is always more fun!

Using colorful stickers, the children followed the lines and placed each sticker along the track. Such a simple activity, but a great way to build fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, focus, and early visual tracking, all while enjoying some fresh air!

It's a Willowbrae Theme Day! 🫎🍁

Today, our academies are celebrating Canada's Heritage Day - The Moose.

The moose is on the loose, and this Willowbrae Theme Day is all about recognizing Canadian Heritage with the help of one of Canada's most majestic animals, the moose.

Children across our academies are enjoying fun moose-themed activities, crafts, sensory play, stories, and games as they channel their inner Canadian legend.

We can't wait to see how our academies celebrate this special Willowbrae Theme Day in style! 🤎
