Tiny Hoppers opened its doors in January 2005 in Ottawa, Canada. By being recognized as a premier, award winning Early Learning Centre, we have attracted attention both nationally and internationally, and we are expanding our franchise worldwide.

At Tiny Hoppers, our focus is to provide children with a safe, fun and unique play environment.

We are currently seeking an Infant teacher, it will be a full time position available at our Alderbridge, Richmond location.

Working days: Monday - Friday between 8 am to 5:40 pm

Start date: ASAP

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00-$22.00 per hour plus wage enhancement with benefits - the salary is DEPENDENT on experience

We are looking for someone energetic, dynamic, and crafty, but most of all LOVES working with children

Qualifications:

MUST have Infant and Toddler License
Must have current First-Aid/CPR Certificate
Must have a valid Criminal Record Check
Have a strong understanding of child development and behavior
Excellent communication skills
Be very organized
Have good computer skills
Have strong leadership & problem-solving skills and a strong ability to multi-task
Must look & present self in a professional manner

Responsibilities and Duties:

Support other teachers in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
Maintain a clean, respectful, and orderly classroom.
Program planning based on children's interests.

Supports LMIA if needed.

COVID-19 considerations:
All educators must wear mask when on site, checking children's temperature 3 times a day. No parents inside the facility program rooms.
