The RHMS community came together to celebrate another successful Annual RHMS Art Café. This special event provides students with the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents and share their passion for art with the school community.
This year's theme, "Animal Instinct," invited students to explore and celebrate the beauty and diversity of the animal kingdom. Through a variety of artistic styles and mediums, students created major works inspired by wildlife and the many fascinating aspects of animals that capture their imagination. The exhibition featured thoughtful, creative, and visually stunning pieces that reflected both artistic skill and a deep appreciation for the natural world.
We would like to congratulate our talented students for their creativity and dedication. Their enthusiasm and effort were evident in every piece displayed throughout the event. A special thank you goes to the RHMS Art Department for providing students with meaningful opportunities to express themselves through the arts.

The RHMS Robotics Team recently competed at the Skills Ontario Competition, where they proudly placed 5th overall out of 20 competing teams. Students participated in the exciting VEX IQ Mix and Match challenge, where teams were required to design, build, and program a robot to compete against other teams for the highest scores.
In addition to the driver-controlled competition, students also created a fully autonomous version of their robot that could complete tasks independently without the use of a controller or driver. This required strong problem-solving, coding, teamwork, and engineering skills.
Congratulations to our talented RHMS Robotics Team for their outstanding achievement at Skills Ontario. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and success!

The RHMS Eco Club organized the RHMS Book Exchange for students in Grades 3 to 6. In preparation for the event, Eco Club members promoted the initiative throughout the school with the slogan, “Leave a book, take a book,” encouraging students to donate gently used books and discover new stories to enjoy.
The Book Exchange was a wonderful opportunity for students to share their love of reading while learning about the importance of sustainability and reducing waste. By giving books a second life, students helped keep books out of landfills and ensured they could find a new home with another reader in our school community. The event was filled with excitement as students explored different genres, exchanged favourite titles, and discovered new authors. Their efforts helped promote environmental responsibility while bringing everyone together through the joy of reading.
