It is not easy being an international student. There is a lot of financial pressure on students at a very young age. It may look all bubbly and “you’re living the dream” life from the outside. But only one who has gone through it knows the pressure, the depression, the stress that comes with it.

The times when you think, Why did you come here, is this actually making my life better?

It is hard, very very hard. You have to manage everything.
So, next time you doubt yourself about anything, think how far you’ve come, what all your have achieved. You can get through this, it won’t be easy but you can do it.

Our story and why we do what we do.

My family and I came to Canada few years back. We faced a lot of difficulties that we can’t even count, what we can count are the number of people who actually helped us because they were only 1-2 or them.

We were new here, we didn’t know how things are or would be. We didn’t know how to get a house, a car, how will my little sister go to school nothing and to top that all there was no one to help.
We were helpless.
There were times when people gave us wrong advise, may be because they didn’t know or may be they did it on purpose who knows.

It took us over 3-4 years to figure things out know what is right and how things work here in this new country.

That time was the hardest, we had financially difficulties, my family used to fight because nothing was going right. I thought it would break us, everyday I used to feel why did we even come here. To make our lives worse?

But we didn’t give up, we pulled through. We also decided that my family and me would personally make sure that no one else on our watch would go through the same trouble, the same misery.
That is when we started this company.
We help, we support, we encourage. We help people to not give up when they want to, we help students by becoming their family here where they have no one.

This Diwali our house would filled with students and new immigrants who had no family here, but want to celebrate this festival with their families. We were there family.
It was the best thing ever. The house was open to anyone and everyone who wants to come, enjoy the family touch and just feel like there home.

We made them feel like home, and trust me that is the best feeling ever.
