Ms. Leung Piano Studio

The summer has finally almost come to an end, and my studio was busy with many intermediate students going through exams in August. To prepare for an exam, it's not merely performing a few pieces but also needs to prepare for the technical requirements, ear training and sight-reading. It's a lot of dedication for the students, especially they need to prepare throughout the summer for the August session exam which ended a week ago.

I'm proud that all the students did exceptional well in the summer session of exams, with marks ranging from 80s to 90s! I'd like to congratulate the following students (and their parents) for their dedication and outstanding work:

The new school year will be another challenge as the Royal Conservatory has published the new theory syllabus. Every level now has theory requirements. I do believe that it makes our students more well-rounded in their music knowledge but it also means more work for both the students and myself! I'll discuss with individual students for the plan going forward very soon once the school year starts.
