Go Beyond Academy is a well-rounded, after school education centre. We offer quality education and dedicated service to students of all ages, from Kindergarten to First Year University. The goal of GBA is to provide students with an optimum after-school learning environment and give them an understanding and appreciation of lifelong learning. Our programs include tutorial/teaching lessons on all core academic subjects; such as Math, English, French, Science, etc. In addition, our piano studio introduce students to an enhanced learning experience. Go Beyond Academy takes special care with students to ensure that they are equipped with the skills necessary to be successful in their day school studies; for example, time management, organization, problem-solving communication, and independent research skills. Appropriate modifications to teaching, learning, and evaluation strategies are made to help students gain proficiency in their subject of need. For students in high school, they are provided with guidance about current post-secondary information. This guides them to make appropriate choices upon graduation. The classes at Go Beyond Academy are led by experienced Ontario Certified Teachers in their field of study. ๐Ÿ“š Our Fall Reading List Is Here!

Parents, take a look at the posters below ๐Ÿ‘‡

Many students face similar challenges when learning English:

๐Ÿ“– They read many books but only understand them at a surface level.
โœ๏ธ They struggle to develop ideas, add meaningful details, and avoid repetitive vocabulary in their writing.
๐Ÿง  As they move into higher grades, novel studies and literary analysis become increasingly challenging.

Thatโ€™s why reading and writing should always be developed together.

Go Beyond Academyโ€™s Fall English Reading and Writing Programs for Grades 2โ€“10 use carefully selected, grade-appropriate novels to connect:

โœจ Reading comprehension
โœจ Vocabulary development
โœจ Literary analysis
โœจ Creative writing for younger students
โœจ Essay writing for older students

Our goal is to help students progress from simply understanding a story to thinking critically, analyzing texts, expressing ideas clearly, and writing with confidence.

๐Ÿ‚ Registration is now open for our Septemberโ€“January Fall Term!
