We are thrilled to congratulate 10-year-old Charles Sun on successfully advancing through multiple highly competitive rounds and ultimately winning Second Place in the Classical Voice Division at the NATS National Student Auditions Finals, along with a US$400 scholarship!National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS)

The National Student Auditions (NSA) is an annual vocal competition organized by the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). Widely regarded as one of the most prestigious student vocal competitions in North America, it is often described as the “Olympics of the vocal world.”

Open to young singers and university students from across the United States and Canada, the competition features multiple age divisions and vocal categories, including classical voice, art song, opera, musical theatre, and contemporary music.

Each year, thousands of singers participate and must advance through several levels of competition—including local chapter auditions, regional rounds, and national semifinals—before reaching the national finals. The judging process is rigorous, with adjudicators typically consisting of distinguished university professors, professional singers, and highly respected vocal educators from across North America.

As one of North America’s largest and most highly regarded student vocal competitions, the NATS National Student Auditions provide an important platform for young singers to demonstrate their technical achievement, musical artistry, and performance excellence.
