We wrapped up the 2024-25 school year on both a sad and sweet note. We said goodbye to our principal, Mr Slaa who helped open our doors two years ago. Mr Slaa was also known to many of us for many years before that, as some of our families joined Beacon Hill from Credo Christian School where he also ‘principaled’ and taught, leaving not many assemblies or gatherings without an accompanying guitar, scripture reading, and singing. We will miss your music, pottery lessons, and care for all your students, young and old! May the Lord bless and keep you as you take on the full time role of principal at and establish the work of your hands there.

The sweet note was recognizing the phenomenal staff we have at Beacon Hill and the answered prayers we can already give thanks for, for the year ahead!

Our last week!

🍋 our KG class learning about making change and serving this afternoon by making signs and menus promoting their lemonade stand. The ‘sale’ was a huge hit with their classmates and fellow students this hot afternoon!

💦 Wet n’ wild trip is tmrw - we look forward to this day with other Christian schools all year! Parents remember sunscreen, hats, and extra water and drinks! Please speak to Elysha Kampen if you’re a driver and don’t have your info yet.

👔 FUNDrive runs until June 19. Thank you to everyone who has brought in donations! We’ve been blown away by how much we’ve collected and raised for our smart board fundraiser. Keep checking those closets - we’ll gladly take any household items and clothing you’d donate anyway!

Joy in learning 🤩 Looks like our Grade 1/2’s science lesson on buoyancy was a success!

Calling all spring cleaners! Our FUNDrive fundraiser is off to a good start but we need your help. Large bags went home with each of our students last week to collect unwanted clothing, household items and goods, books and more for donation in order to reach our goal of raising enough money to purchase a smart board for Beacon Hill. Our students are hard at work and would love for you to consider this goal with us as you clean out those closets! We stand to benefit per lb of goods donated so let’s see what we can collect! 💪🏼 dm us here or reach out to our office if you have any questions or need drop off info.
