Random week continued!

This week was full of laughter, fun and craziness!
We heard lots of:
“Can we do this again??” & of course the answer was.. ABSOLUTELY!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
🍦 🍨 ❤️

Our whole CW building ventured down to “Holy Cones” to grab a cold treat last week.

This trip was filled with a lot of firsts for some of our children:
• first time going to this ice cream store
• first time trying the flavor they picked
• first time ordering for themselves

Some children ordered for themselves, despite how nervous and shy they might’ve been, they never forgot their please & thank yous!
We are so proud of them!

Before we left, bubbie went to say thank you again, and was told the greatest compliment ever:
“You have very kind, well mannered and beautiful children”
& that’s what makes bringing over 40 children for ice cream, easy!

This week was our “community week”
our little’s ventured out to visit some of our favourite places in our community and say hello

Seaside restaurant for lunch
Rexton elementary school/park
Fire station
ice cream store 🙂
We enjoyed meeting new faces in our community and enjoyed the yummy treats:)

If your name could be anything for the day, what would it be?

Our preschool & afterschool class pondered over what their new name may be, they thought of everything they liked, movies, games, shows and names they heard of before and “just fell in love with”!

Imagination came to life & lots of laughs were had!
Simple but fun activities is what they seem to love the most ❤️

& this afternoon we’re all off to grab an ice cream!🍦

Kicking off “random week” with ‘anything but a book bag day!’

📍 Community Childcare Needs Survey
Creating Wonders is exploring the possibility of purchasing another building to expand childcare services in our area.
Before making such a significant decision, we want to hear directly from local families. Our current waitlist shows there is a need for additional childcare, but we would like to better understand:
• Which community would best serve families
• What age groups need care
• What schedules families require
• How location and childcare fees affect families’ decisions
At this time, a new location would not be guaranteed designation. This means its childcare fees could initially be higher than those at a designated centre. Your honest feedback will help us determine whether another centre would be sustainable while still providing the quality of care families expect from Creating Wonders.
