Ready for the next 50/50? It's going to be a big one! Support the Revelstoke Community Band at the Grizzlies game this Friday, March 13. The winner might be taking home up to $907.50, due to the unclaimed winnings from the February 27 game.(So it's kind of 50-90...)

Do you play an instrument and read music? Would you like to make new friends and contribute to community events? The Revelstoke Community Band will begin rehearsing again this Tuesday, January 6/26, at 7 pm in the music room at the high school.

We had a great time at the Holiday Train yesterday! We are so grateful to BC HYDRO for the grant for the new tents, Dave Marfleet for leading us and John and Gwen for anchoring us on bass and percussion.
Luckily for all, the train arrived just as we were wearing out.

Are you near the skate park and wishing for some Christmas cheer? The Revelstoke Community Band will be playing a brief concert of Christmas music at Mount Begbie Manor at 1 pm today. Sorry for the late notice, we'll do better next year!

Santa Parade

The return of the Santa Claus Parade!
On Saturday, December 13, you can expect:
🧑‍🎄 Santa Claus Parade at 4 p.m.: Cheer for the parade as it makes its way from Revelstoke Courthouse, down 1st Street and along Mackenzie Avenue, coming to a finish at the corner of Mackenzie Avenue and Ninth Street.
🧑‍🎄 Festivities at Grizzly Plaza between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.: Join the community celebration at Grizzly Plaza, which will feature free hot chocolate (provided by CUPE 363, City of Revelstoke staff), popcorn and more!
🧑‍🎄 ‘Pictures with Santa’ between 4:45 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.: Find Santa and his helpers under the gazebo for festive fun. Bring your phone for a free pic that sleighs! Snap a smile, share a wish, and make a merry memory.

Save the dates! 2 concerts, December 5 at 7:30 pm and December 6 at 2:30 pm.

TONIGHT! TONIGHT! Rehearsals begin TONIGHT!

We will meet at the high school at 7 pm to begin preparing for performances at The Revelstoke Railway Museum Railway Day Sept 21 and Revelstoke Rotary Club Oktoberfest Sept 27.

The Community Band will be playing in Queen Elizabeth Park starting at 1:30 before the parade arrives, and another short set after the ceremony before the Shuffle Demons dance party starts at 3.
We've got a bunch of upbeat tunes, some new, for folks to enjoy on a beautiful day.
