Heritage Renfrew Open House Sat Sept 26th from 1 to 5 pm.

Dig into Renfrew's history at the Heritage Renfrew Open House. The free public event is being held from 1-5 pm, Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Renfrew Information Centre next to the caboose on O'Brien Road. Heritage Renfrew volunteers will be on hand with samples of our extensive collections of historic photographs, documents, newspapers, family histories and much more. Congratulations to long-time RCI teacher-coach Mr. Scott Buffam who was awarded the prestigious EOSSAA retirement award on Friday in Kingston. Mr. Buffam was a long-time volleyball, softball, and hockey coach here at RCI before moving to Arnprior DHS in the twilight of his career. He captured seven UOVHSAA hockey championships and make four trips to OFSAA with the Raider hockey program.

RCI Athletic Director Mr. Jason Wilson presented Mr. Buffam with the award.
