Leroy is the definition of a gentle giant. He has a sweet, in-your-pocket personality and a quiet, willing attitude that makes him a pleasure to be around. Since arriving for training, he has never offered any dirty behaviour or reactivity. He takes everything in stride and is soft and easy to work with.

He is more woah than go, making him an excellent choice for someone looking for a relaxed, level-headed horse rather than one that wants to race everywhere.

I recently took Leroy on a solo trail ride, and he was an absolute dream. He headed out alone without hesitation, stayed calm and confident, and handled himself like a seasoned trail horse. He also has experience living in a mixed herd and is low on the pecking order.

Leroy is ready to find a home where he can continue being someone’s trusted partner, whether that’s enjoying the trails or simply having a safe, kind horse to enjoy.

I have a couple horses available for on property lease, these 3 are listed rn but I’ll have more to follow shortly. All leases are arena leases at this time, until I get better mapping system of the trails. There will be options to trail ride with guides of course but there won’t be access to ride the trails by yourself. Each lease comes with 4 lessons a month (once a week).
The arena is booked from 7pm-8pm Monday, and Tuesday. 5-8pm Wednesday and Thursday. So you’ll have to ride around the lesson times.
Some horses can be rode more then others so price of lease does reflect that.

Nevada
10 yo AQHA mare. She is a pony but solid built, standing at 13.2hh she can handle an adult no problem, she is literally wider then tall and is a tank. She is blind in one eye but it doesn’t affect her at all. She was a Teampenning and sorting horse, although she can be very forgiving and amazing with kids. When it comes to adults she’s best with an experienced rider as she can be more forward and wants to work. She can do a reining spin, roll backs, solid stop, works the flag, moves off leg and neck reins. She’d be perfect for someone who wants to learn to ride a more performance style horse. She is extremely fast when asked. She is available for unlimited rides a week, lease comes with a lesson once a week.

Gunner (Found his leasee)
22 yo AQHA gelding. He is a 15.1hh horse. Gunner is a very quiet boy with a sweet personality. He is extremely smooth. Gunner is older, he goes w/t and does canter but he rather just go slow and enjoy a tour. He’d be perfect for an adult looking to go slow and enjoy some saddle time or a kid learning the ropes. He’s only available for 2 rides a week plus the lesson once a week.

Destiny (found her leasee)
16 yo mare. She is 15.1hh and is very solid horse. She is one of the newest members to the farm, because she’s only been here a month we are only offering her to lease to an experienced rider. Although she’s been very safe under saddle so far she is a bit pushy on the ground sometimes and hasn’t been here long enough to know all her quirks for sure. She goes W/T/C but her canter is really rough. She’s available for unlimited rides a week and a lesson once a week.
