NSLI 240 Community-Based Research Highlight:

Students in NSLI 240 partnered with the Disability Income Support Coalition (DISC) to examine how disability income supports in Saskatchewan can better promote dignity, autonomy, and quality of life.

Through interviews, policy reviews, and consultations with community members, students identified key barriers within the current system and developed recommendations to support DISC's ongoing advocacy for fair and equitable income support for people with disabilities.

Thank you to DISC and all participants who contributed their time and expertise. This collaboration demonstrates the impact of community-engaged learning and the value of working together to strengthen disability support systems in our province.
