Come join us for the final Connaught SCC meeting of the school year. It's on Wednesday, June 17 at Connaught School (north west door facing 13th Ave.) from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

These meetings are open to everyone and there is no commitment required, although it is welcome if you feel inspired to do so.

École Connaught Staff Spread Holiday Cheer!

This season, the staff at École Connaught came together to support 19 families in our community by organizing generous hampers filled with essentials and treats for the holidays. Thanks to the incredible contributions from local businesses and community members (featured in the graphic below), we were able to make a meaningful difference.

Our heartfelt thank you goes out to all the sponsors for their very generous donations. Your kindness and support brought immense joy to our families. The smiles and excitement as they picked up their hampers were truly priceless—they were overwhelmed by how much they received!

Together, we’ve shown the power of community and compassion. Special shout out to staff members Anessa Eckert & Stacey Greenberg for their time and efforts in organizing, collecting donations, ordering items, etc. Thank you for helping us make this initiative a success!

December 17, 2025, 2:45 p.m - Due to anticipated storm conditions developing in southern Saskatchewan, Regina Public Schools is taking the precautionary step to cancel all after school, extra-curricular activities, and field trips. Scheduled community events held in school buildings will be at the discretion of the organizers.

Following the end of the school day on Wednesday, December 17, all Regina Public schools will be closed for the evening.

It is anticipated that all student transportation and school operations will return to normal on Thursday morning, December 18.

If there are any changes, school families will be contacted directly through usual direct channels, including Edsby and automated phone messaging, as well as web and social media posts. Please also check with Regina-area news media who will be informed in the event transportation or school opening changes.

Environment Canada has issued freezing rain and blizzard warnings for the Regina area for the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, December 17th. Regina Public Schools is taking this rare step to ensure that students, staff and community members remain safe and do not take any unnecessary weather-related risks.

We are seeking Connaught students 11 years or older to babysit at future SCC meetings to look after younger children for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours with compensation.
