Excited that Peaches will be joining us virtually for the keynote roundtable discussion following the screening of her Teaches of Peaches (2024) documentary! Along with Peaches, is a powerhouse lineup of artists, including Quanah Napoleon, Dj Kookum, and Betti Forde. This discussion is followed by a reception and performances from GRR alum, Sadie Hawkinz and Sunset Embassy, and the evening concludes with a set by DJ Kookum! The Interactive Media & Performance Labs house professional equipment for music & audio production, providing open access to students & community members! An IMP Labs specialist can assist you with using:

We're so excited to co-host this upcoming event:
Curating for the Dancefloor: A Workshop with DJ Hendrika

DJ Hendrika (aka Amy Weisgarber she/they) will cover the basics of building a set list, creating a space for dancing, and their personal story of navigating the DJ landscape as a q***r femme throughout the past 20+ years. They will demo Traktor as a digital DJ tool and participants will also learn some beginner turntable skills.

This is a FREE workshop open to community members.
