We are gearing up for something AMAZING in June, Eagles!! 🫧

We are hosting a FOAM PARTY for our school community on June 11. There are 6 time slots to sign up for and the cost is $5/child. This is a family event so please accompany your children. 💦

Please Note: Zeffy may suggest an optional contribution to support their free platform — this can be adjusted to any amount, including $0.

We’ll also have a cash canteen available that night including freezies & cotton candy! 😋

Thank you to everyone who participated in our cotton candy fundraiser! We sold 332 bags & raised $664 towards our playground fund! What a sweet deal! 🍭

A special thank you to Kai & Asher Noseworthy’s grandparents for donating all the supplies for the sale! We are grateful for your support! 👏🏼

And to these ladies who spun a LOT of sugar on Monday - you rock! 🤩 we have some great volunteers on SCC!

If you missed the preorder cutoff - not a worry! We have extra! We will be selling cotton candy bags out of the kindergarten room on Monday at lunch so bring your toonies and make sure to grab a bag!

All money raised will go toward our playground fund! 🍭🛝

Something sweet is coming, Milliken! 🍭

You all loved the cotton candy station at the Fall Festival so much that we’ve decided to bring it back! We want to continue fundraising for the playground and the Noseworthy family has stepped up and donated the supplies for a cotton candy sale! 🩷

Students can preorder by taking $2 to school from now until May 19. If they’d like two bags, please send $4 but we are capping it at two bags/student.

On May 25 our team will be in the school, swirling cotton candy and delivering it to students who have preordered.

It’s a delicious way to help us get to our goal sooner! Thanks for your support, Eagles! 🛝

Next month is our Annual General Meeting 📣

We’ll meet on June 3 at 7pm in the library to review the year, look ahead to next year and vote on elected positions available.

Up for Voting:

🧑‍💼Vice-Chair - attend meetings, support chair, run meetings if chair is unavailable, lead the group, help where needed & participate in events.

💰Treasurer - attend meetings, track and manage all financials for the council, give reports on bank statements & status, participate in events and help the group as needed.

Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy performances by our band students, dance club, choir & more! 🎭
