Got left over school supplies? ✏️✏️

Does your child come home with enough leftover school supplies to stock a small classroom? We can help with that! 😄

As we gear up for another year of learning and fun, we're collecting any leftover school supplies you no longer need. Crayons missing a few friends, half-used packs of markers, extra glue sticks, pencils, notebooks, we'll happily give them a second life!

Before those supplies disappear into the mysterious junk drawer abyss, consider donating them to our daycare. Every little bit helps keep our little learners creating, coloring, and exploring.

Drop-off anytime during daycare hours. There will also be a bin at the school you can drop off any supplies as the school year finishes.

Come kick off summer with PDLC staff and board at our family BBQ—then stay for our Annual General Meeting. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Serving on the board is a 2-year term and a great opportunity to:

🌸 PDLC Flower & Plant Fundraiser 🌿

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our Flower & Plant Fundraiser! 💛

With your support, we raised a total of $2,136.90! Every purchase, share, and kind word helped make this a success.

🌼 Reminder: Plant pick-up will be at T&S Nursery and Greenhouse in Qu’Appelle, and you can begin picking up your orders starting May 1st.

We are so grateful for such an amazing and supportive community! 🌼

🌸 Fundraising for Back Yard Improvement Project - Spring Flowers! 🌸

Over the next year, we aim to raise $15,000 to construct and install an outdoor market in the backyard, which will provide shade for the children and enable us to spend more time outside, especially during the summer months. As well, the turf in the backyard requires some repairs and replacement, which will bring additional costs.

Each family has been provided one book of vouchers for selling plants from T&S Greenhouse in Qu’Appelle. You must provide the right portion to purchasers as a receipt, as they will need to present this in person at T&S. Keep the left portion and remit to the daycare by Monday, April 27.

All funds must be submitted to PDLC via e-transfer, with the note “flowers” by Monday, April 27.

To date, we have raised $5,840.36 toward the backyard market and outdoor improvements! The McLean Daycare Board would like to thank everyone for your assistance with our fundraisers and support of the programs and activities in our Centre!

Saturday, May 23rd is the annual Garage Sale Weekend and Consignment Sale in McLean!

After you’ve finished shopping around town, stop by the centre for a warm meal and a refreshing drink. We are open 11am-1pm.
