When I was at Maskihkiy Kistikan (Medicine Garden) last week a woman from the neighbourhood stopped me to chat. She said she had stopped in when the team was just starting the process of preparing this garden. She let them know she didn't think anything could possibly grow there. Yet there we were weeks later with a resilient and flourishing garden. She could not believe it.
Let this be a lesson to all of us ❤️
Everything needs support to grow with an environment conducive to flourishing. We aim to provide that support to people, families, and communities to flourish by responding to community needs in areas such as food security, HIV, prenatal care, & Elder support.
