EWB Regina will be hosting a Panel for Black History Month with a focus on Engineering. It will take place Thursday February 24th at 5:30pm on Zoom! There is a special presentation from the Dean of Education, Dr. Cranston, and five panelists to speak about their experiences in Engineering as well as Academia and where they see potential for improvements within diversity and inclusion.

All attendees will receive Black Lives Matter patches provided by the RESS. The RESS and EWB will be matching a donation to an organization that supports Diversity and Equity.

CANADA-AFRICA INNOVATION FELLOWSHIP | EWB Membership 01/10/2022

The EWB Canada-Africa Innovation Fellowship is an Innovation Accelerator providing an opportunity for Canadian and African students to work together on innovative solutions to real world climate problems.

2022 THEME: Climate change, renewable energy, green innovation
WHEN: May – August 2022 (part-time commitment)

This 16 week program features a training series, as well as mentorship and coaching from sector experts. It also provides Fellows with an international and cross-cultural platform to engage in innovation design challenges for creating equitable, sustainable, scalable, and viable solutions.

Are you:
- A student attending a Canadian University
- A (emerging) leader in your school or community
- Interested in working collaboratively with other students from different regions in Canada and sub-Saharan Africa
- Interested in finding solutions to the climate crisis
- Open to a part-time fellowship
- Entrepreneurial minded and interested in an innovative design challenge to create solutions for complex global problems

CAIF will build skills students need to be leaders at work and in their communities with the ability to navigate and solve complex challenges.
