Happy Thanksgiving Weekend! 🍂🦃

Kindergarten A celebrated “Friendsgiving” this week with lots of fun and thankfulness! Students made scissor salads, created turkey crowns, enjoyed a special pop-“corn” treat, and spent time talking about all the things they are thankful for.

Most importantly, they took time to pray and thank God for His many blessings! 🧡

Wishing everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend filled with love, joy, and gratitude!

Bringing Science to life! 🌿

Mrs. Cuento’s Grade 5 and 6 students enjoyed a hands-on outdoor learning experience through Wascana School Programming!

Students explored wetlands, learned about animal tracking, and discovered how living things interact with their environment. This field trip brought classroom learning to life while encouraging physical activity, environmental awareness, and an appreciation for caring for God’s creation.

What a great opportunity to learn, explore, and enjoy the outdoors together!

Yesterday, our Grade 11 and 12 students had a wonderful opportunity to experience university-style learning right here at RCS!
We were pleased to welcome University of Regina President Dr. Jeff Keshen and several U of R professors, who shared information about the university and led engaging mini-classes in a variety of subjects.
Students explored post-war history and the black market, biology through “Amazing Fish Tales,” leadership in business, engineering with “Industrial Ice Cream,” and environmental studies through “Nearby Nature.”
A big thank you to Dr. Keshen and the University of Regina faculty for taking the time to visit RCS and give our students a glimpse into university life and the exciting opportunities that await them! University of Regina

A huge thank you to our RCS families for your incredible generosity in supporting our food drive for Good News Chapel!

Together, our two campuses collected enough non-perishable food donations to fill two vans! These donations will help provide food for individuals and families in need in our community.

A special thank you to our SLC students for leading this initiative and encouraging our school community to give generously.

What a blessing to see our RCS community come together to share Christ’s love in such a practical way!

⚽ Serving Our Community Through Soccer

Did you know RCS partners with Good News Chapel in a free weekly soccer outreach for kids?

Almost every Saturday, 30–40 kids gather at the Mâmawêyatitân Centre for soccer drills, games, snacks and a time of devotion where they hear about Jesus.

RCS high school students serve as volunteer coaches, building relationships and showing Christ’s love through their time and encouragement. The kids look forward to seeing them each week!

Thank you to Good News Chapel for giving our students this wonderful opportunity to put their faith into action, serve others and share the love of Jesus in our community! ❤️

Our Food Drive for Good News Chapel has begun!

Students at both RCS campuses are bringing in donations of non-perishable food items to help support individuals and families in our community who are in need.

To add a little friendly competition, classes are competing to see who can collect the most donations—and win a prize!

Over at EYC, Kindergarten has jumped into the lead! 🎉 Who will catch them?

Thank you to our RCS families for helping us share God’s love in a practical way and bless our community!

Students in 3A and 3B explored Métis art and culture in Mrs. Yoo’s art class by creating their own beautiful Métis-inspired dot art!

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about the traditional beadwork of the Métis while experimenting with colour, patterns and creativity. 🎨

Yesterday, RCS commemorated Orange Shirt Day. 🧡

Students and staff wore orange as we took time to learn, reflect, and remember the experiences of Indigenous children and families impacted by residential schools.

As a Christian school, we are reminded of the importance of treating every person with dignity, compassion, and love, recognizing that each of us is created in the image of God.

“Love one another as I have loved you.” — John 15:12
