Harbour Landing School Community Council

Harbour Landing School Community Council (also known as SCC) is a group of interested parents, school staff, students and community members who work together with the principal to support the students of the school.

As another school year comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for another fantastic school year!

To our students, thank you for your enthusiasm, hard work, and the joy you bring to our school each day. We are so proud of all you have accomplished this year.

To our staff, thank you for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to helping every student learn and grow. Your efforts make a difference every single day.

As we say goodbye for the summer, we wish everyone a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved break. We look forward to welcoming returning and new staff/students back in the fall and creating more wonderful memories together.

For those families, students and staff moving on to new opportunities, we wish you all the best.

Sipped is Coming to Harbour Landing School!

Sipped will be set up at Harbour Landing School at approximately 2:15 PM on Wednesday, June 24.

If you walk home or are being picked up by a parent/guardian, bring some change ($7) and grab yourself a specialty drink or popcorn as we celebrate the last day of school! 🎉☀️

⏰ Reminder: There is early dismissal at 2:30 PM on Wednesday.

It’s Time! The 2025-2026 School year is coming to an end and we’re planning for 2026/2027.

Do you live in the Harbour Landing area? Do you know a child from the Harbour Landing area who will be five years of age or older on December 31st 2026? If so, make sure to contact Harbour Landing School to get them registered for the upcoming school year.

The Harbour Landing School Community Council (HLSCC) is proud to be offering Grade 8 students an opportunity to apply for our Excellence in Community Service award. A cash prize and certificate will be awarded to two deserving students.

Are you responsible, reliable, and enjoy working with children?
The Harbour Landing School Community Council is looking for student babysitters to provide childcare during SCC meetings throughout the school year.

Requirements:
✅ Must have completed a Babysitting Course
✅ Must be a Harbour Landing School student in Grades 6–8
✅ Available approximately once per month from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
✅ Specific meeting dates will be provided in advance
