All at PCI mourn the loss of Cris Derksen. Always a force to be reckoned with, they shared their gifts with us at PCI2018 and we will be forever richer for that. RIP Cris - the music lives on.

After 13 years of our Summer Intensive, PCI will be re-structuring and re-focusing. The 2024 Summer Intensive will be the last and from now on we will be providing one-day masterclass projects throughout the year.

This year, we’ve already had amazing classes with VC2 and Stéphane Tétreault, with more to come in 2025.

As part of this new direction, our website will be shut down in the near future. But don’t worry - you can stay connected and keep your cello fix alive by following us right here on Facebook and Instagram!

Thank you to everyone who joined us last week for the masterclass with the incredible Stéphane Tétreault!

This special event was co-presented by the Prairie Cello Institute and the Regina Symphony Orchestra. Swipe through to see some moments from the class!
