Week 1

April 13th- Opening Ceremonies (Period 2, may run into Period 3)
April 14th- Chuck Bucket (Upstairs commons @ noon)
April 15th- Student/Teacher auction (gym @ noon)
April 16th- Movie Afternoon (Period 4/5 in the aud. OPTIONAL)
April 17th- Shave Heads (front foyer @ noon)

-Taco-in-a-bag lunch (upstairs commons @ noon)|

--Pass the pie (running throughout the day, teachers- let us know if you do not wish to participate)

Week 2

April 20th- Coffee House 7pm (more info to follow, but we are hosting a coffee night at 7pm featuring student and teacher talent!)
April 21st – Shave heads (upstairs commons @ noon)
April 22nd- Jail & Bail (running all day, teachers- let us know if you do not wish to participate)
April 23rd- Dance afternoon (periods 4/5 in the gym. OPTIONAL)
April 24th- Hot Dog sale (upstairs commons @ noon)

12 L is running a Beat Cancer Photo booth for the next two weeks until April 24th.

AFTER GRAD MEETING

There is going to be an After Grad meeting held at 7:00 p.m. in the library at Thom this Thursday, February 5.

All parents of graduating students are welcome to attend.

CREDIT PHYS. ED & OUTDOOR PURSUITS CLUB

Credit Phys Ed. students - please hand in all forms and money for the Mission Ridge ski trip to Mr. Paskiw by Tuesday, Feb. 3.

Outdoor Pursuits Club-please hand in your forms and money for the Echo Valley Ice Fishing Trip to Mr. Bridgeman or Mr. Paskiw by Fridayl, Jan. 23.

Thom Collegiate is a Community Depot for the Good Food Box. This program offered by REACH, which stands for Regina Education and Action on Child Hunger. Reach is an Umbrella organization that is able to reach into the community and offer a variety of programming to ensure every person has access to affordable, nutrient dense food delivered through over 100 organizations and schools. There is strength in numbers and the more people that participate the greater the purchasing power the organization has. So what is the Good Food Box? It is a program that offers quality fresh fruit and vegetables at lower prices than the supermarket delivered right to the school. It is available to everyone! There are three basic sizes to choose from with prices of $12.50, $17.50 and $21.50. Mrs. Vollman is the coordinator and will collect any orders on Wednesdays by 3:15 pm. Cash only please. Orders will be delivered to the Thom office by 1 pm the following Wednesday. It’s the next best thing to having a fruit and vegetable stand right on your corner! Further details of what is in each box is available in the office and guidance. Come on EVERYONE and check it out! Just think – good prices and no lineups.

OUTDOOR PURSUITS CLUB

Reminder to all the Outdoor Pursuits club members. You need to get your permission slips, club fee and trip fee to Mr. Bridgeman or Mr. Paskiw by Jan 23rd if you plan on attending the fishing trip on Sat Jan 31st. We have a few people paid and raring to go, the more the merrier.

CRP Students, please note:
The morning CRP exams (periods 2 + 3) will run on Wednesday, January21st, 2015. The busses will pick students up at 9:50 at Thom and return them to Thom at the end of the day.
The afternoon CRP exams (periods 4 + 5) will run on the same days as they are running at Thom EXCEPT that the busses will pick students up at 9:50 and then return to Thom when the exams are done on both Thursday and Friday.

Semester 2 begins on Wednesday,
January 28th, 2015 @ 8:30 a.m..
