What an amazing meeting we had today!! The room was full and 4 more joined in on Zoom.
Congratulations Henry and Jason for being voted as the best impromptu Table Topics speakers at our June 8th meeting. Our members have been developing excellent skills and it's hard to know who to vote for as the best speaker. Impromptu speaking is a very useful and transferable skill that we practice every meeting.

We encourage anyone who wants to improve your communication and leadership skills to come to our meetings and see all the useful personal and professional skills that we learn and practice.

Join our special Public Meeting on May 25th where the theme is Recognizing Accomplishments. We will be recognizing the many accomplishments of our members since July 1, 2025. We will have 2 speakers who will be doing that. Everything that we do in Toastmasters is transferable to real word activities.

As we work on expanding our vocabulary our meeting Grammarian this week noted that he heard the word deleterious being used and the definition was shared with all.
Toastmasters serves as a practical training ground, to boost career skills like public speaking, leadership, and networking. Members gain real-world competencies such as organizing, time management, and persuasive speaking, which are directly transferable to professional environments such as meetings and presentations.

We're excited that our club member Anne will be the Division B Director in the NEW District 210, starting on July 1st. You'll do an amazing job!
If you want to surround yourself with successful, motivated people who want to succeed, Wild Oats is that club. We support our members to be better communicators and leaders.
