One day, someone will sit in your chair or trust you with their skin or nails, and feel completely at ease in your hands. They won’t see all the times you practised a technique again, asked for help, or went home wondering if you were good enough.

But those moments are how you become that person.

Take photos of the work you’re proud of—and the work you’re still learning from. Pay attention to how you make people feel. Keep practising when progress is hard to see. Your reputation is built in the small moments, long before you graduate.

You’re learning a skill, but you’re also becoming the professional someone will remember. 🤍

Every student who walks through our doors brings something different with them — their culture, style, personality, talent, inspiration and their own way of seeing the world.

One of our favourite parts of teaching is watching those things start to show up in their work.

A little idea turns into a project.
A project turns into confidence.
And over time, you get to watch their skills grow, their creativity get bolder and their own style start to come through.

Some students love soft and beautiful. Some love editorial. Some love colour. Some love special FX, fantasy, weird, dramatic or completely outside the box — and we LOVE all of it.

There is no one way to be creative here.
