The RSSA thanks everyone who stopped by, volunteered, donated and/or purchased books at the book sale! Your support is very appreciated.

Also, tomorrow (Friday, January 30th) the RSSA will be holding an Owl Event from 3-5. Beer, soft drinks and nachos will be ordered at 3:30 and it is first come, first served. We look forward to seeing you there!

Come check out our book sale on the first floor of Classroom Building! Books are $2 and coffee is $1. Also, come see us to learn about our upcoming Owl Event.

We are pleased to announce that we will be putting on a small book sale this week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (January 14 - 16th) from 10 am to 3 pm. The book sale will be located on the first floor of the Classroom Building. Books will be $2 each (or 3 for $5) and coffee is available for $1. Also, coffee will be free with any book purchase. This is a great opportunity to gain some valuable sources for academic projects along with a way to connect with like minded students in the RSSA. If anyone would like to volunteer for the book sale, please email our communications executive at [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you there!

A big thank you to everyone who came out to our Halloween event last Wednesday night. Pictures of the evening will be posted soon!

Come out for an evening of Halloween fun with the RSSA! This event will begin at 7 PM in ED 193 on Wednesday, October 29th. First, there will be some Halloween-themed games with prizes to be won. At 8 PM, we will choose (by vote) what movie to watch. Some choices include Hocus Pocus, Casper and Zombieland. We encourage you to dress up as there will be prizes for the best costumes. Chips and pop will also be provided. As usual, this event is open to all University of Regina students.

The Department of Religious Studies is holding a talk on Wednesday, October 15th at 4pm in CL 407. Everyone is welcome!

The Religious Studies Students Association (RSSA) is pleased to announce that there will be an Owl event on Friday, September 26th from 2-5 pm. This event will take place at the Owl located in the Riddell Centre at the University of Regina.

This event is an opportunity to introduce ourselves and to provide an environment for students to connect with like minded individuals both inside and outside of the Religious Studies faculty. This is a casual event so do not hesitate to come and go. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided along with food by the RSSA and you are strongly encouraged to bring friends.
