What is the state of Saskatchewan's nonprofit sector in 2025?
The Saskatchewan Nonprofit Sector Study 2025 provides one of the most comprehensive snapshots of the sector in recent years.
The findings tell a story of organizations that continue to strengthen communities across the province while navigating growing challenges, including rising costs, increasing demand for services, funding pressures, and workforce capacity concerns.
Yet despite these challenges, nonprofits remain a vital force in Saskatchewan—supporting wellbeing, creating connections, building belonging, and improving quality of life in communities of every size.
Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing key findings from the study through a series of mini reports focused on topics such as funding, workforce challenges, organizational capacity, and financial sustainability.
The data helps us better understand not only the challenges facing the sector, but also the opportunities to strengthen it for the future.
Read the full Saskatchewan Nonprofit Sector Study 2025 and follow along as we explore the findings.
