I Shoulda (should have) done, my life would be so different...

For so many people this is their story, a tale of opportunities not taken and regret.

I thought it was going to be my story when I lost my position as an engineer of 42yrs I was shattered.

But determined to recover and to come back better than before ……..

I didn’t want to rely on someone else for my security anymore and was determines to start my own business.

For 18 months I jumped on the Amazon bandwagon and discovered it was not as easy as so many gurus were claiming it to be. There were many reasons why it didn’t work out but for the sake of time, I won’t go into them here 😊

So, when my wife saw I wasn’t making any progress she asked me to help with the side hustle she had been casually involved in for 12 yrs.

I told her I was not really keen because I had really big goals and while she had been making a steady income I wanted to make more…...

She explained to me that she wanted to focus purely on doing this without any distractions and see what sort of results she could achieve.

So being a good husband I agreed, and it has turned out to be a defining moment for me.

After 6 months of focused activity, we had a personal best month where we made more than the average Canadian makes in 6 months.

And this was all done by following a system and getting referrals from happy clients. Things were really starting to look promising ……

However, life has a way of throwing challenges at you, and along came covid and we had to change the way we were doing things.

By learning to connect with people through Social Media Marketing and then meeting with them in Zoom we are now back in action.

I am blown away by how good it is working.

Now you may not be looking for an opportunity and that is perfectly fine.
