The University of Regina's Centre on Aging and Health 2023-2024 Distinguished Public Lecture will be held Thursday, March 7 at 6:30pm on the Main U of R campus (MAP University Theatre, Riddell Centre).

Internationally-renowned gerontologist, Dr. Tracey Gendron of Virginia Commonwealth University, will speak on the topic of her book, 'Ageism Unmasked: Exploring Age Bias and How to End It'. Open to the public. Admission is free. Free parking available at all M and Z lots after 5:00pm.

Because pain is a complex and subjective experience, health professionals rely on their patients to tell them about their pain. In severe dementia, people's ability to communicate is compromised and many are unable to report pain.
