These online workshops are for anyone interested in developing their knowledge of the work of Rudolph Laban and Irmgard Bartenieff, no experience necessary. They can be taken individually or together; as a stand alone course or to fulfill the prerequisite requirements for the Laban/ Bartenieff + Somatic Studies International (LSSI) 500-hour certification programme. labaninternational.org

This class will use the principles of Bartenieff Fundamentals to tune in to our bodies, release tension, and find new patterns of movement. This class will be done primarily lying on a mat with movement that is slow and gentle and ends in standing to integrate and prepare our minds and bodies to move throughout the day. Leave this class feeling grounded, renewed, and refreshed.

Moving Babies

In these classes, the goal is to meet your baby where they are at and support them wherever they are in their development. Some of the move that your baby might be working on are:

01. Rolling
02. Sitting
03. Belly crawling
04. Crawling
05. Pulling to Standing
……and more!!

Sometimes babies gain these skills so fast you almost miss it, and sometimes they struggle, or threaten to skip them all together. There are many movement strategies in these early days that will support them throughout their lives.
