May 5th is Red Dress Day: The National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirited peoples.

Reminder:
Red Dress Day is Thursday, May 5th and is meant to educate and bring awareness to the crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, men, and two-spirited people.
Red Dress Day was started in 2010 by Metis artist Jamie Black and it was her REDdress art installation that has evolved and grown into the annual Red Dress Day. In addition, Artist, Danii Kehler, created her version of Art to honour MMIWG, girls, and two-spirited people.
Please remember to wear something red on Thursday in support of this cause.
