After making the fast track option to finish his study, he was able to earn his Graduate Studies of Canadian Diploma in Immigration Practitioner Program from the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC) e-Academy in a year. He likes doing photography and blogging. His passion is always to share his knowledge with everyone and to help others succeed. His video blog on YouTube is named, "WalkingJ Canada", as his life quote is, "Run for your goals as life is time-bounded. If you get tired, just walk to keep you going, but do not ever stop." Jayvee is looking forward to working with the clients in achieving their Canadian dream like them.

392th Approval! Our 63rd SINP Nomination.

This one came with a clock on it. Our client's work permit expires on October 31, 2026. A single applicant here in Regina, Saskatchewan, who came to Canada as an international student and was working on her post graduation work permit.

When she first sat down with me, the path was not clean. The job offer had to be measured against the Saskatchewan median wage before the position could be approved at all, and that took real work on the employer side before anything could be submitted. We fixed that first. Then we moved.

The Employer Position Assessment went through fast with urgent review request. The nomination application was received by the SINP on September 21 and the nomination was issued on October 1. Ten days.

What that means for her is simple. We can now file her work permit extension before October 31 with the nomination behind it, and we can move her permanent residence application forward. She does not have to stop working. She does not have to leave.

A post graduation work permit only runs once. It does not renew. The window to turn it into something permanent is the one you are standing in right now, not the one you will notice later.

If your permit has an expiry date on it and you have not had the conversation yet, have it early. Early is the whole strategy.

Be careful, and act promptly when you receive an IRCC refusal.

I recently received two separate refusals involving SINP-based Work Permit applications where IRCC stated that required documents were missing.

The problem? The documents were in fact submitted and were in the IRCC Application portal.

I contacted IRCC regarding both cases, and the agents I spoke with confirmed that the documents were indeed attached to the applications. Both applications are now pending for Reconsideration Request.

IRCC is increasingly using AI and automated decision-support tools in application processing, including tools that can assist with triage, document completeness and eligibility assessments. However, I do doubt that according to IRCC, these systems do not make or recommend refusals. Officers are like copied from templates - AIsh format. Final refusal decisions and decision notes should remain with IRCC officers but they should involve page-to-page due diligence checking before deciding.

23rd Employer Position Assessment Approval! Now at 391 Successfully Represented Applications!

Congratulations to our employer client in Regina, Saskatchewan. Their Employer Position Assessment was approved yesterday.

You saw the certification post earlier. This is what came next, and it is the step that actually matters.

The timeline, because this one had a clock on it.

September 3. EPA submitted, with every requirement built and every document in place.

September 18. Approved.

From the day the employer first signed with us to an approved EPA was 24 days. This includes the days we have to wait for the decision makers.

Here is why the EPA is the one to care about. Certification gets an employer into the system. The EPA is what gets a specific position assessed and approved, and until that happens, no worker can be nominated against it. However good your employee is, however badly you need them, everything waits on this.

The status now reads open for candidate submissions. That is the green light.

And it has already been used. The candidate has been named on the EPA and approved, invited on September 18, with ten days to validate an00d until November 17 to submit the complete SINP application.

So the employer's half is finished. The worker's half starts now, and it starts on a clock.

Now the part we want you to hear.

Urgent files are not a problem to us. They are what we are built for.

When a permit is weeks from expiring, when an intake window is about to close, when a worker is one deadline away from losing everything they have built here, that is exactly when experience matters most. Not because we can rush the government, because nobody can. Because we know precisely what must be in that file, in what order, and we do not waste a single day finding out.

That is the difference between a file that moves and a file that sits.

Twenty four days. No requests for more information. Nothing sent back.

To the workers reading this, if your permit is running out and you have been told to wait and see, please do not wait and see.

To the business owners reading this, if you have a good employee you cannot afford to lose, the paperwork is not the obstacle you think it is. It just needs someone who has done it before.

Bring us the urgent ones. We will tell you honestly what is possible, and then we will go and do it.

Congratulations once again, and thank you for trusting Olcorp with your Saskatchewan immigration needs.

Another SINP Nomination Approved! Our 62nd SINP Nomination!

Congratulations to our client from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on the approval of his Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program nomination under the Agriculture Talent Pathway!

This approval marks our 62nd SINP Nomination, bringing our overall total to 390 successfully represented application approvals since December 2021.

His work permit expires on September 25.

The nomination was issued on September 17. Eight days to spare.

He came to see me back in March with one question. His permit was running out, and he wanted to know how to use the time he had left to reach permanent residence.

So we made a plan. And he followed it. Every document, every deadline, every step, done on time.

SINP received the application on September 13 and issued the nomination on September 17. Four days.

Thank you to SINP for moving quickly and for understanding what was at stake. And thank you to our client, because a file only moves that fast when nothing is missing from it.

No maintained status. No gap. No panic. We can now file his work permit extension and permanent residence application calmly, the way it should be done.

Six months ago this was just a question. Today it is a nomination, with a week to spare.

That is what planning early looks like.

Congratulations once again! We wish you every success as you move forward with your permanent residence application.
