Hey Friends - we need your help 🫶

We’re always looking for little ways to update, improve, and add warmth to our environment here at the Centre. 🌱
We’re working on making our space a little cozier, more welcoming, and more like home - a space where children feel comfortable, connected, and inspired to explore and learn — and we’d love your help!
We’re currently looking to add a little more life, nature, and warmth to our classrooms and are accepting donations of items such as non-toxic indoor plants, ariticial plants or vines, tree stumps or half logs, wicker/rattan baskets, lamps, loose parts, and other cozy, natural décor. 🪵

Have something you think might be a good fit? We’d love to hear from you!

Don’t have something to donate but have an item we may be interested in? We’re also happy to purchase gently used items at a fair or reasonable price.

Every little contribution helps us create a space that feels warm, inviting, and special for the children who spend their days here. 💚
Thank you for helping us make our Centre feel a little more like home. 🤎🌿

🍎 WE’RE LOOKING FOR APPLES 🍎

Does anyone have an abundance of apples on their apple trees? We’d be happy to take them off your hands. 🌿

We are looking for donations of apples to use in hands-on crafts, creative activities, sensory play and learning experiences with the children at our Centre.

From apple stamping and nature-inspired art to exploring colours, textures, counting, cutting and discovering how apples grow — there are so many wonderful ways to turn a simple apple into a learning experience! 🍏🍂

If you have apples you’d like to donate, we would gladly accept them!

Every little contribution helps us create meaningful, hands-on experiences for our children. ❤️🌱

We are also happy to accept donations of any extra garden vegetables such as potatoes, cucumbers, corn, carrots, broccoli or beans for activities and/or eating. 🥕🌽🥦🫶

A BITTERSWEET FAREWELL ✨️🥹

Today was Sarah’s last day with us as one of our regular after-school educators, and while we are so happy for her as she heads off to university, saying goodbye is never easy. 🥹

For the past few years, Sarah has been such a special part of our Centre and of the children’s lives. Sarah is gentle, kind, soft-spoken and so sweet - with a quiet way of always making the children feel safe, cared for and loved. She has always been reliable, responsible, respectful, and we have always known we could count on her.

The children absolutely adore Sarah — and we do too. 🩷

Sarah, thank you for every morning you showed up, every little hand you've held, every story you've read, every game you played, every smile you shared, every floor you’ve mopped, and all the little moments in between. You have made a difference here, and you will be so very missed (luckily we will still get to see Sarah when she's home from school).

We are incredibly proud of you and wish you nothing but happiness and success 🌿

Thank-you for being a part of our RELCCC family, Sarah 🫶
