We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer! We are getting ready for another great year at I.F. Cox and can’t wait to welcome our students and families back. 💙

🏫 The school office will reopen on Monday, August 24th.
Office and walk-in hours are 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

📚 REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN FOR ALL GRADES!

We are also accepting registrations for our Early Learning programs:

⭐ Junior Kindergarten: Children must be 3 years old by December 31st.
⭐ Kindergarten: Children must be 5 years old by December 31st.

Once your child is registered and attending school, if they haven’t already had the opportunity to participate in an Early Learning Check-Up, they can complete one once school begins.

📋 Class lists will be posted on Friday, August 28, at 12:00 p.m.

🐝🍯 Prairie Rose Honey is almost ready!

The bees have been busy, and our student beekeeping program is getting ready for this year's honey harvest.

🍯 3 kg pails / $25
📍 Dates to be Announced (it will be sold at our South Alberta Collegiate (1351 30 St SW, Medicine Hat) location when ready)
💳 Cash, debit, or credit card will be accepted
⏳ First come, first served - No preorders

The first harvest is expected within the next week. Once the date is confirmed, we'll announce the first sale day, followed by additional sale dates over the following weeks if needed.

NEW this year: To maintain its raw, unprocessed quality, customers will need to place the honey in a deep freeze for 14 days after pickup. Freezing allows the honey to naturally set while preserving the qualities that make it pure, local, and raw. Please plan to pick up your honey during one of the scheduled sale dates and times. Due to the need for freezing, there will be no holds.

What a TOW-tally awesome morning!

A big thank you to Hauck towing for bringing their tow truck to school and showing us all the controls, equipment and special features. Our 1B class was fascinated and loved getting an up-close look at this important community vehicle! Hands-on learning experiences like this help bring our classroom learning to life!
