Parkside School PRSD 8

Yesterday we celebrated Parkside's Annual End of Year Awards Ceremony recognizing the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our students throughout the school year.

The afternoon began with the presentation of Honor Roll awards, followed by Speciality Awards, before culminating with the prestigious Annual Honor Roll recognitions.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients.

Well done to everyone on a fantastic year, and best wishes for a safe and enjoyable summer!!

Parkside Award assembly for tomorrow has been brought forward to an earlier time of 12:45 due to school buses now coming earlier. Parents of students receiving awards have all been contacted. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

A reminder to all students who need their Chromebooks for tomorrows PAT/Final Exam, to make sure they are charged and that you remember to bring them with you. Have a great rest of your Thursday. 🙂

A huge thank you to all the students at Parkside who helped put together the wonderful Cozy Cube, created by the students of Eagle Butte, for our CSC room. We are incredibly grateful for all of your efforts and the pride you took in bringing this project to life. Well done, everyone! 👏🏻☺️

This year we had 13 athletes that qualified for the Zone Track & Field Meet. There were 10 athletes that went to Zones to compete. It was a great day of competition with some very competitive events. These are the athletes that finished in the top six to gain points for the school.

- Nash Davis finished 3rd in the U16 Boys 1500 meter race and 4th in the U16 Boys 800 meter race.
- Weston Haselback placed 5th in the U14 Boys 800 meter race.
- Jayden Armstrong finished 6th in the Triple Jump.
