We are saddened by the loss of our beloved friend and the clubs president Terry. He was the kindest soul out there. If you ever had been to the club you would know this. He was my mentor and I will never forget how much he has helped me. Rest easy Terry.

For all the wanna be carvers interested in learning to carve, I will try monday notes and tuesday notes at 6.30 in my garage. Please call or message so I know how many might be here so I can be prepared. 403 529 7049. I have made some phone calls and left messages for a few that expressed interest in learning to carve.

Well, I said I would inform you of progress on some carving classes, so here goes. I have a few names and emails for a few people interested in learning to carve. They will be on a Monday evening and Tuesday evening starting in November, 1st monday. I will phone or email the names I have so any one not on my list contact me thru this post or call me at 403 529 7049.

Seeing as our club carvers in the afternoons now I've been contemplating teaching how to carve in my garage in the evenings fromm about 630 pm till maybe 930. I think this way I could accommodate school kids as well. Please contact me at 403 529 7049 and I can give you more information if required. Don't buy a bunch of tools as the club has some for the beginners till they decide if they want to continue. We also have wood for beginners as well. Hope to hear from interested carvers. I have a list of a few interested and I will contact them and see how many, and what sites are best for the most. If enough interest may consider 2 nites for instruction.

This weekend we will be taking part in the art in motion at the esplanade. Pop in and see us.

On another note over the years I have quite the collection of carvings accumulated. Fish, animals, caricatures etc. If interested in purchasing or coming over to see them. Sent a note and we can communicate abd set something up.
