St. Teresa of Avila School

This week the grade 4’s had a great morning . They got a behind the scenes tour, planted some beautiful flowers to take home and got to sample many edible plants. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to end our day at the splash park as planned but a great time was had by all regardless!

Our Grade 5 Farewell was bursting with energy, fun and so much pride for our students! We wish our students all the best as they move to Grade 6. We will miss them!

Today, our students had the incredible opportunity to learn from and be inspired by a talented Jingle Dress Dancer as part of our National Indigenous Peoples Day learning and celebration.

Through dance, storytelling, and sharing her gifts, she helped our students deepen their understanding of Indigenous culture, traditions, and the significance of the Jingle Dress Dance. The beauty, grace, and meaning behind her dancing captivated students and staff alike.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, listen, and celebrate together. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, culture, and gifts with our school community. ❤️💛🖤🤍

Pre-K celebration of learning coming up next week !

🔆 Yesterday our Foundation classes had a blast at Camp Bonaventure, hosted by Between Friends! 🔆

We started off with camp songs all together and then enjoyed rotating through stations of obstacle courses, cereal necklace making, playdough making, games and bubbles. We were surprised with a special visitor - a police officer! We ended our fun by receiving a certificate.
