A rare photo of me doing the work I love ✨
Pictured here: mama asked for more pressure on the hip squeeze, so a family member and I gave her more pressure on the hip squeeze 🫡. She knew what she needed and wasn’t afraid to ask for it. Goddess energy.
The little things, like a hip squeeze or an encouraging word, often look ordinary from the outside, but in the birth space they can mean comfort, relief, reassurance, and perhaps be that little extra push mama needs to get her through.
I never expect or ask for photos during this sacred work. The day is not mine. It is her day and her story.
But I’m grateful for this image. A family member snapped a couple of actions shots, and I will forever hold these close to my heart.
What an honour it is to be invited into these sacred moments.

Wild. I witness the extraordinary, then go home, make my family breakfast or lunch or dinner, hug my kiddos, and carry on with my cute lil life, while a new family starts theirs.
Just beautiful.

I’m ready for you, June. Slow mornings, wild adventures, grateful hearts, and beautiful memories in the making.
We are preparing to slow down, actively looking to get out of the city, and into the country. It’s a full body yes from me, and we are manifesting hard.
I hope the fruits of your labors and shining through too, friends.
Cannot wait to see what magic unfolds.

Perhaps ✨, she won’t remember every word said, or every moment of her transition from maiden to mother.
But, she will remember how she was made to feel, how she was treated, and if she was respected in those tender moments.
These core memories are engrained into our brains as women.
We will take them throughout our lives, and as we age, they are often said to be the last to fade.
Treat women accordingly 🤍✨

It’s raw, instinctive, emotional, sacred work ✨
You never need to apologize for doing what you need to do to bring your babe earthside, mama 🫡 🤍

Birth is sacred and beautiful… but also kinda feral.
Birth isn’t sterile, quiet, or polished.
It’s primal, powerful, messy, and completely normal 🤍
